I aim to make every aspect of therapy feel clear and straightforward, including fees. Below you’ll find the fees for private therapy in London, along with what each appointment includes.
Session Fees
Assessment session — £250
Therapy session — £200
Session fees are the same whether sessions are face to face or online.
Sessions are 50 minutes in duration.
Fees remain the same throughout your therapy unless otherwise discussed.
Therapy is typically weekly.
Where appropriate, letters or reports may be provided when they are clinically indicated and likely to support your care.
What Your Fee Includes
Your session fee covers more than the 50-minute appointment. It includes:
A personalised, evidence-based therapeutic approach
Ongoing formulation, assessment, and clinical thinking between sessions
Specialist psychological therapy delivered by a Chartered Clinical Psychologist
Resources relevant to your therapy, such as worksheets, tools, or techniques
Secure and confidential record keeping
Appointment reminders
Coordination with your GP or psychiatrist, when appropriate
My aim is to ensure that every aspect of your care feels containing and consistent.
Private Health Insurance & Funding
I offer self-funded therapy and work with a range of private health insurers.
If you plan to use private insurance, sessions are billed in line with your insurer’s terms and may require pre-authorisation.

Cancellation Policy
A full session fee applies for cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice. This policy helps protect appointment availability for all clients and supports consistency in the therapeutic process.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
This varies depending on your goals and what you’re seeking support with.
Short-term therapy is often around 12 sessions.
Medium-term therapy is up to 24 sessions.
Some clients prefer longer-term work, though I often focus on a briefer timeframe of around six months or less. I feel that this really focuses the work.
You’ll receive an initial estimate after your assessment, and we review progress together regularly to ensure therapy remains useful, beneficial and aligned with your goals.
